Milton United blew a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 with bottom of the table Bracknell Town last night at The Heights

Milton United blew a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 with bottom of the table Bracknell Town. Milton's Matt Biddle fired over from close range in the 2nd minute from a left wing Ollie Thomas' corner. Bracknell's Dan Roberts looked to capitalise on keeper Craig Griffiths poor clearance but fired his effort into the legs of Griffiths. With 17 minutes gone Danny Langford couldn't get on the end of Sam Elkins superb cross but just a minute later Langford opened the scoring for Milton finishing superbly from the edge of the box via the left hand post. Bracknell could of been level when Shane Cooper Clark downward header bounced over the bar from Jordan Rowlands cross, but two minutes later in the 26th minute Milton doubled their lead when Langford 30 yard screamer flew into the roof of the net. Milton looked to kill off the game with Langford and Daniele Piscopo had shots saved by Garry Aulsbury in the Bracknell goal. A mixed up between The Milton United back line allowed Cooper Clark a simple tap in with Half an hour gone to bring Bracknell back into the game.

Milton continued to dominate Langford again shot over when we'll placed and Daniel Cox Rodgers fired straight at Aulsbury after a quick counter attack. The lively Danny Langford then was brought down in the box five minutes before half time but Aulsbury dived to his left and saved the resulting penalty from Langford.

The second half saw a more lively Bracknell who pressed and harried Milton and both sides failed to really test either keeper until the 64th minute when Sam Elkins low free kick found the bottom corner and Milton where well in control. Bracknell never gave up and another mix up in the Milton United defence allow Cooper-clark an opportunity and he didn't need asking twice and finished low to keepers right to set up a tight finish with 17 minutes to go and just five minutes later Shane Cooper-Clark was left unmarked at the back post and he volleyed home a superb left wing cross to complete his hat trick and help his side to gain their first point of the season.

"I'm fuming at the minute" was Milton United Managers words after the three all draw with Bracknell Town. "It should of been game over at half time but we have shot ourselfs In the foot three times. It's not exceptable, we won't win games of football if we defend like that."

Bracknell Town striker Shane Cooper-Clark bagged a hat trick which came as no surprise to Bedwell "We came up against one of the best finishers in this league so you have to defend well against him and make him work for his opportunites and stop the service to him but we handed it to him on a plate I don't think he will score an easier hat-trick."

Milton have a tricky week ahead with trips to Flackwell Heath and Tuffley Rovers then Oxford City Nomads visit 'The Heights' next Saturday.

"Simply we need to start winning football matches we have dropped so many silly points and now we have two tricky away trips and a tough game at home we have somehow got to win theses matches."

Team: Griffiths, Elkins, Thomas, Biddle (Beech), Jenkins, Stott, Austin, Cox-Rodgers, Hodgkins, Langford, Piscopo (Janes)
