Milton United drew 0-0 away to Binfield FC in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division

Milton United returned from Binfield with a well fought 0-0 draw, their fourth draw in four Uhlsport Hellenic League away matches.

Binfield started the brighter and Milton United keeper Craig Griffiths pulled off two outstanding saves in the opening five minutes to keep the scores level.
In an very even game where Milton United probably had the majority of possession but apart from two Matt Biddle efforts one hitting the post failed to trouble the Binfield defence, and Milton had keeper Griffiths to thank who made 3/4 superb saves to keep them in the game.

"I'll take a point" was the view of manager Paul Bedwell after recent defeats to Thame United and Ascot. " I didn't think there was a lot between the sides, I think Binfield will be disappointed as they had the better of the chances but we had good procession but lack a bit of quality in the final 3rd, I feel for niall (Hodgkins) at the minute we aren't giving him any service and any really decent ball, he's living off scraps so we need to start improving in this area fast."

This was Milton's third clean sheet of the season and a relief to the manager as he continues to patch up the back line " We have a bit of an injury crisis at the back at the minute, Scott (Davis), naishy (Johnny Naish), Cam (Cameron Mcneill), Berna (Jack Bernasconi) are all out injured or unavailable and to lose both left backs in the first half to injury wasn't ideal but I'm delighted we managed to get a result and a clean sheet, Griff (Graig Griffiths) was outstanding he pulled off some vital saves as he always does for us, he's absolutely priceless , he saves us so many points. I just hope we have a few players back for Tuesday, its a massive game for us, we need to start winning more home games."
