From a neutral the game might of lacked chances and that excitement however from a footballing individual it was 2 teams in form working hard and almost cancelling each other out.
They pressed us well and they were clearly a well drilled, young athletic team who wanted to get at us. We dealt with it quite well and only really looked in danger from our own mistakes.
The first half ended 0-0 and for us that was perfect as we had fresh legs to bring on to change the game. Before half time we had the best chance of the whole game with Ollie Nadin going 1v1 with the keeper and it being saved well.
Second half we went a little long ball at times to change the dynamic of the game and went a way from how we usually play. On first thought it was disappointing however to keep a clean sheet against a team who has just beaten the league leaders on a pitch that was a tad soft towards the end is not at all a bad thing. We stay unbeaten at home and look forward to Tuesday night which will be another test against a team in the division above and we are right where we need to be at this point of the season with games in hand.
