A busy week for Milton has resulted in changes to the First Team Management setup

On Monday the Chairman received and accepted the resignation from First Team Coach Paul Berry. Paul leaves the squad in a good place and we thank Paul for all his efforts over the last 10 months. We wish him well in the future.
First Team Manager Tim Davies has decided to step aside from first team duties and take a new role of as Director of Football within the club
On Tuesday evening the First Team was managed by Craig Griffiths and Seb Dixon who ensured that Squad was well prepared and able to compete against Abingdon Town.

Today we can announce the appointment of Danial Elvestad as the Milton United First Team Manager.
Speaking of the reshuffle, Chairman Andy Burchette told the club website:

‘At the beginning part of the week it was yet another problem to solve. The rallying of the First Team players, the effort displayed against Abingdon Town and having the right people involved leads me to believe we are now stronger all round. My sincere thanks to all those who stood up and took the changes in their stride.

We have appointed a young, well qualified and dynamic First Team Manager in Danial Elvestad. Danial will be assembling his own Management Team over the coming days. I am in no doubt they will work with our players to get the best out of them.

Secondly we have gained Tim Davies onto the Clubs Main Committee. Tim has shown tremendous loyalty and unsung effort supporting the First Team and indeed the Club. His efforts can now be more focussed and help strengthen the back room effort.
So it’s been a blur, but we look in good shape to move on and step up a gear.’
